St. Paul's School is an Academy with the Good Shepherd Trust in the Diocese of Guildford catering for girls and boys aged four to eleven years.  We are a 2 form entry school with a published admission number of 30 in each class. Our school day begins at 8.45 am Years R, 1 and 2 finish at 3.05 pm Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 finish at 3.10 pm

St Paul's has a rich heritage as a church school with strong community links. It recently strengthened this status by becoming an academy with the Good Shepherd Trust with the Guildford Diocese. There is an expectation that decision making within the school will have a strong Christian ethic and there are therefore a substantial number of governance posts which are either parish or diocese appointments. Everyone involved with the school is expected to support our Christian ethos and values, behaving in a way that enhances the faith status of the school.

Our curriculum is enhanced through many opportunities for thinking and reflection as part of the school day, prayer /reflection areas in each class, assemblies with a strong faith focus and the opportunity to join in clubs led by members of the local church. Pupils and parents are encouraged to take part in church services, of which there are several, including Harvest, Christmas, Easter and regular Eucharist services. The pastoral side of faith schools is often a significant factor in choosing such a setting for your child. St Paul's has a strong sense of community and the staff have a genuine desire to nurture and support each child.

Hand in hand with this goes a strong desire to ensure that children have an ethical understanding of right and wrong, and the expectations of behaviour and manners are extremely high. Pupils are expected to develop self control, respect and a desire to use the skills and talents they have been given to the full.

The Good Shepherd Trust is a family of schools within the Diocese of Guildford that support and help each other yet each school in the Trust knows that they are unique.  They also recognise that they have important roles to play in the development of their communities - both educationally and spiritually.

Surrey is a county of contrasts. Only a short journey from London, it also offers a quick escape into peaceful countryside. This pleasant environment is combined with transport links that include the M3, M23 and M25 motorways, road and rail to London, and easy access to Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

Surrey provides a wealth of contrasting leisure activities. Among the historic sites are Hampton Court Palace and Runnymede, as well as National Trust properties such as Clandon and Polesden Lacey. Other attractions include picturesque villages, gardens, such as Wisley, racecourses and river trips. Surrey also has seven major arts venues.

Sports centres are also plentiful, among them the Spectrum Centre in Guildford, probably the most exciting leisure complex in the UK. Other first-class facilities are available in Camberley, Egham, Lingfield and Oxted.

For cyclists and walkers there is an extensive network of footpaths, bridleways and cycle routes and Surrey also boasts high-quality shopping malls, particularly in Kingston, Guildford and Camberley.
